她，是两个孩子的母亲。老大是个男的，就读二年级，老么是个女的，是一年级生。
她，是某公司的普通书记。
她每个月的薪水不到马币千五元。
她的丈夫已失业了整半年，至今还未工作。
她必须负担起两个孩子的保姆费，学校消费，每日开销及其他的琐碎费用。
整个家庭的生活费全落在她的身上。
她已没本事再拿出多余的钱让她的孩子象其他孩子一样上补习班了。
但，偏偏老大功课差，考试成绩总是满江红。
每每拿成绩册后，她只能在夜里偷偷的一面落泪，一面埋怨自己没本事让儿子上补习班。
儿子的事情最后被姐姐发现了，姐姐就拿了主意，帮儿子报了补习班。
从此，女儿每个星期有三天晚上都会见不到哥哥两个小时。
终于有一天，女儿见不到哥哥时，就问她：“妈，哥哥到那去了？
“哥哥上补习班了。”
“哗，好棒哦！妈，我也要象哥哥一样上补习班。您何时送我去补习班？”
“。。。。。。”
她，不敢正视女儿。
她只能把头抬得高高的，努力地不让女儿见到她的泪水。。。。。。

2009.10.21-Day 3

Today, we are going to meet "James Bond" at Phang Nga.

After having breakfast, once again, I followed the gang and headed to the beach nearby our hotel to snap some photos.

After passing the river, we are now at Phang Nga district.

But before we meet James Bond, we stopped at a temple nearby to visit the monkeys.

We feed the monkey with bananas.

We were back to our hotel to have a short rest and clean up.

We are going to Phuket Fantasea tonight to have our buffet dinner and watch a show there.

We entered to the theatre to watch the show after that. Didin't snap any photo of the show, so, can't share with you guys about the show.

We backed to our hotel at 10.00pm. Then we proceeded to a massage centre nearby to have our foot massage.

We went back to hotel at around 11.45pm.

Gotta sleep now as need to wake up at 6.00am tomorrow to catch the flight back to Malaysia at 7.15am.

This is the end of the trip.

I really enjoy the trip.

It was really fun to travel together with the love friends and relatives.

So long Phuket.

20.10.2009 - Day 2 - PHI PHI ISLAND

We woke up at 7am today and get ourselve prepared at 7.30am as we need to arrive at pier to catch Sea Angle Cruise to Phi Phi Island at 8.30am.

After breakfast, we went to the beach nearby our hotel to snap some photo.

This is the paints that I bought at the T-Shirt Factory yesterday. See how much I love my country? Even a paints also I bought the one with Malaysia's national flower pattern. :D

It took 2 hours from the pier to Phi Phi Island. And we started to ENTERTAINED ourselve!

Phi Phi Island has 2 island, Phi Phi Dong (Big Island) & Phi Phi Lay (Small Island).

We were brought to wander around Phi Phi Dong to view the scenary before proceed to Phi Phi Lay for snorkeling.

After two hours snorkeling in the sea, we were brought to the nearest restaruant to enjoy our buffet lunch. Seems like everybody was so hungry!

After lunch, we walked around the island and visited the souvenir shops there.

And suddenly we were so excited when we found this!

We were sent back to hotel after that.

This was a welcome drink from the hotel, Patong Lodge.

At night, we were brought to enjoy our first Thai Massage at Patong. After that, it's time for us to try the sea food at Phuket. Look at what we ate there.

This was really juicy but i dare not eat! It cost THB15 per piece.

19.10.2009-Day 1-Phuket City Tour

We reached Phuket at 8.15am,Thailand time(Malaysia time is 9.15am)

As soon as we met the tour guard, Mr Prasit, our Phuket city tour started immediately.

Our first stop were at T-Shirt factory.

Here, i bought my swimming suite. Wanna see my swimming suite?? Please stay tune for the next post . :D

After visitied to T-Shirt factory, we went to a shop that sell local food.

Do you know among us, who is the "Champion"/"King" of shopping at this shop??? Look at the picture below.

Look at the building along the road, don't you feel that we are now at Malacca??According to Chinese Calendar, Lunar Month 0f September is one of the God of Buddha - "Jiu Wang Ye"'s (九王爷) birthday. Phuket's Buddist is very concern about this festival. They will be in vagetarian for nine days just to celebrate this festival.

And, we vistited to the biggest Jiu Weng Ye temple at Phuket.

According to Mr prasit, those who wear white shirt and white pants means he/she is in vagetarian within this period.

We prayed there too.

After pryaing, we headed to McDonald to try the McD Pork Burger. (Very sorry to our tour guard who has to accompany us while we were eating the burger but he was in vagetarian at that time!)

We were brought to Honey Factory after that.

Then we visitied to Chasher Nut factory.

After that, we visited to wat Chulong.

We rest about 2 hours. After that, we wend to have our dinner by using a Tuk Tuk.

2009.09.22-Macau,Hong Kong, Shenzhen Part 4

DAY 4 - HONG KONG - SHENZHEN

This morning, we were brought to enjoy the dim sum at another local restaurant for breakfast again.

After the breakfast, we took a train from Hong Kong toward Shenzhen.

We had our lunch as soon as we reached Shenzhen. Too bad, I was too hungry and kept eating and forgot to snap some photo of the food. :(

After lunch, we visited to The Window of The World at Shenzhen.

The slogan they use here is : 给我一天，还你整个世界！(Spare me One day, I will pay you back with the whole world!)

So, are you ready to travel around the world in one day??

We were brought to visit Small China & Cultural Village after this.

Here, you can see all the famous landmark at China which is being shrinked to mini size, such as Forbidden City, Great wall, Xi Hu, Huang Shan, Ta li etc.

At the Cultural Village, you can see the houses of some race from China.

We had our dinner after that. We tasted the famous Shenzhen Grill Goose & Grill Pigeon (烧鹅、乳鸽) there.

After that, we proceed to a shopping area at Shenzhen, 东洋步行街.

A lot of cheap stuffs like shoe, shirt, watches sell here.

After the shopping, it's the end of today's itenary. We back to hotel for resting after that. Tomorrow is free and easy day. So, I no need to wake up too early tomorrow.

DAY 3 - HONG KONG DISNEYLAND

Good morning Hong Kong.

Today, we were brought to enjoy the famous Hong Kong Dim Sum at a local restaurant.

As soon as we finished our breakfast, we were brough to visit a jewel factory & a local fruits shop. After that, we were toward Disneyland.

We passed by 青马大桥 (One of a famous bridge at Hong Kong). After 30 minutes, we finally reached Hong Kong Disneyland at 11.15am.

Hong Kong Disneyland is just nice to visit by spending only one day as the park is not that big. Overall, it can be divided into 4 main lands.

Land 1 : Main Street USA - When you are there, you just feel like you are walking at U.S.A. There are a lot of shops which is selling souvenir & photo.

Land 2 - FANTASY LAND - You can have a lot of rides here like Dumbo, The Flying Elephant, watch 4D Show, Cinderella Carousel, It's The Small World.... .... etc

Land 3 : Tomorrowland - Here, you can meet the cute Stitch, Toy story's Buzz, "Drive" a cart at Autopia, fly at Orbiton & have a roller coaster ride at Space Mountain. Unvortunately I was quite tire when I reached this land, so I didn't snap much photo here and this is the only photo that i snapped at this land.

Land 4 : ADVENTURELAND - Here, you can meet Tarzan and his tree house, hop on the boat to enjoy the Jungle River Cruise, watch the Festival of The Lion King Show... ...

At Hong Kong Disneyland, you can enjoy the "Road Show" everyday at 3.30pm.

3.50pm, the weather was damn hot, but everybody was still waiting patiently... ...

3.30pm - Show time!

As October is Halloween for U.S.A, therefore, Hong Kong disneyland has another "Road Show" at 7.00pm to celebrate Halloween. All the audience was invited to join their road show too.

7.00pm - Wa ha.. ha..ha... Happy Halloween everybody!

After the Halloween Road show, we were entertained with a fantastic firework show at 8.00pm. Too bad, my camera just couldn't capture any picture of this firework show. :(

We left Disneyland at 8.30pm and reached hotel at 9.30pm.

Another tiring day!

This is the hotel's room. It was just so small and can you see the design of the bathroom? It was built by using a glass instead of brick. If you are to take your shower, you can only cover with a curtain. So "open" right???

I slept as soon as finished taking shower.

Tomorrow I am going to leave Hong Kong and take a train to Shenzhen, China.

19.09.2009 - DAY 2 : MACAU - HONG KONG

Day 2 started

We took a ferry from Macau toward Hong Kong

After lunch, we were brought to Avenue of Star (星光大道), a place where all the famous Hong Kong Movie stars' "palm print" were kept here.

1st, we foudn the palm print of Derek, ops... actually is Leon Lai

and we met Bruce Lee here too! :D

Suddenly a director asked me for casting!

The weather that day was really hot! Derek couldn't walk anymore and I had to carry him.

After that we went to a place which is almost like our Petaling Street - Ladies Market (女人街)

We didn't shop there but we tried some Hong Kong's famous food like this - "Egg Pai" (鸡蛋仔)

This was great! The fishball was really good.

While waiting for the rest of the group members to come, we were resting at a park nearby.

and Derek was "enjoying" the facilities there.

After dinner, we took a train to Victoria Peak (太平山) to view the wonderful night view of Hong Kong.

19.09.2009 - Day 1 - MACAU

3.00am - Good morning everybody.

Derek Law, My Nephew at LCCT at 4.30am. This was his first time to take aeroplane, therefore he was so excited. He woke up at 2.00am today!

Macau, here we come!

1st stop - Of course Ruin of St. Paul's (大三巴牌坊)

We proceed to Museum of Macau.

We had our buffet lunch at one of the restaurant located at Fisherman's wharf (渔人码头). After that, we walked around.

And then we were brought to visit Kun Iam Statue (海观音)

The tour guard told us that this Kun Iam is so skinny and her body jusk look like a coconut tree. What do you think?

After praying, we visited to Venetian Hotel & Casino (威尼斯人酒店与赌场)

7.00pm-It's dinner time. We had our dinner at one of the local restaurant.

One of the reason why we picked this restaurant for dinner is because it sell "PORK BURGER" (猪扒包)

As we woke up at 2.15am this morning to catch 6.30am flight, we were actually exhasuted. Therefore, we back to hotel to have our rest as soon as finished our dinner.

I couldn't believe that I slept at 7.30pm that night!!

She is leaving to UK to further her law study.

Has been taking lesson from her about 3 months plus and was having so much fun during the lessons.

NAILS IN THE FENCE

There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His Father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence.

The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence. Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger , the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down. He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence. Finally the day came when the boy didn't lose his temper at all.

Was having dinner with a friend at Restoran Windmill, Bandar Baru Klang on 15 July 2009.

Trying to share the experience with you guys. Just spend few minutes to take a look on it.

From the outlook, I am sure you can tell why the restoran name is called RESTORAN WINDMILL, cann't you?

The atmosphere inside is just damn great and romantic. But too bad, I was using a low rex camera, so you can't really feel the feeling. :(

After appertizer, of course come to the MAIN COURSE. You can choose either to have this

The whole course cost RM34.40/set.

For me, I feel that the food there is just so so only, not much special. But the environment there helps to add some point to the food and make the food more tasty.

28.05.2009 - The once a year event has came again.

Yesterday I sent out few sms to greet my friends happy dumpling festival and one of my friend replied my sms : "Thank you. This year I have no more chance to eat the dumpling that made by my mum but at least I can eat the dumpling that you sent to me. Thanks."

After reading her SMS, I felt so sorry to her. I forgot that she just lost her mum begining of this year... ...

I know that I am lucky as I still can eat the dumpling that made by my mum for her belove children. And at that moment I know that I must be more appreciate about this.

To my mum, "Mum, thanks for the dumpling. It's taste really great."

To Jelly, "My apology if my SMS made you feel uncomfortable. How I wish that I can deliver some of the dumpling from my mum to you now! Do take care."

01/05/2009-A trip to Batu Cave

01/05/2009 - I went to Batu Cave with my two nephews.

We reached at 5.30pm.

The shooting before we start our "THRILL".

As we know, to "conquer" Batu Cave, you must first "beat" his staircase.

We start our journey.

Derek, Yong Zhe, keep it up. We are almost there.

On the way up to the top, you can find some tour guide who is trying to persuade you to join the "Dark Cave Tour".

And this is the entrance to the dark cave.

Not so far away from the dark cave entrance, we had already reached the top. Phew... ... A big applause to Derek & Yong Zhe. :D

And now I know that we have to climb 272 stair cases before we can reach the top of the cave.

Of course, photo shooting session to "celebrate" the "toughness" of my two boys.

At the top of the cave, there is a temple who the Hindu prays for their God.

After 20 minutes we wandered around, then we started to climb down.

Yes, we already "down".

Before we went home, Derek and Yong Zhe was "rewarded" with a fresh coconut and an ice cream.

I can say that the trip was just great. At least i sweat a lot after the trip.

Swine Flu
The Health Ministry has advised Malaysians against travelling to Canada , Mexico and selected US states where there have been reports of swine flu infection. Its minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said the United States had recorded 20 cases of influenza-like illness in New York (eight cases), California (seven), Texas (two), Kansas (two) and Ohio (one).Mexico has reported 1,149 cases with 71 deaths, out of which 18 cases were confirmed to be caused by the swine influenza A/H1N1 virus. Canada has reported four swine flu cases.

What is swine flu?
Swine Influenza (swine flu) is a respiratory disease of pigs caused by type A influenza viruses that causes regular outbreaks in pigs. People do not normally get swine flu, but human infections can and do happen. Swine flu viruses have been reported to spread from person-to-person .

Is this swine flu virus contagious?
Yes, swine influenza A (H1N1) virus is contagious and is spreading from human to human. However, at this time, it not known how easily the virus spreads between people.

What are the signs and symptoms of swine flu in people?
The symptoms of swine flu in people are similar to the symptoms of regular human flu and include fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, headache, chills and fatigue. Some people have reported diarrhea and vomiting associated with swine flu. In the past, severe illness (pneumonia and respiratory failure) and deaths have been reported with swine flu infection in people. Like seasonal flu, swine flu may cause a worsening of underlying chronic medical conditions.

How does swine flu spread?
Spread of this swine influenza A (H1N1) virus is thought to be happening in the same way that seasonal flu spreads. Flu viruses are spread mainly from person to person through coughing or sneezing of people with influenza. Sometimes people may become infected by touching something with flu viruses on it and then touching their mouth or nose.

How can someone with the flu infect someone else?
Infected people may be able to infect others beginning 1 day before symptoms develop and up to 7 or more days after becoming sick. That means that you may be able to pass on the flu to someone else before you know you are sick, as well as while you are sick.

What should I do to keep from getting the flu?
First and most important: wash your hands. Try to stay in good general health. Get plenty of sleep, be physically active, manage your stress, drink plenty of fluids, and eat nutritious food. Try not touch surfaces that may be contaminated with the flu virus. Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

Are there medicines to treat swine flu?
Yes. The use of oseltamivir or zanamivir for the treatment and/or prevention of infection with these swine influenza viruses. Antiviral drugs are prescription medicines (pills, liquid or an inhaler) that fight against the flu by keeping flu viruses from reproducing in your body. If you get sick, antiviral drugs can make your illness milder and make you feel better faster. They may also prevent serious flu complications. For treatment, antiviral drugs work best if started soon after getting sick (within 2 days of symptoms).

How long can an infected person spread swine flu to others?
People with swine influenza virus infection should be considered potentially contagious as long as they are symptomatic and possible for up to 7 days following illness onset. Children, especially younger children, might potentially be contagious for longer periods.

What surfaces are most likely to be sources of contamination?
Germs can be spread when a person touches something that is contaminated with germs and then touches his or her eyes, nose, or mouth. Droplets from a cough or sneeze of an infected person move through the air. Germs can be spread when a person touches respiratory droplets from another person on a surface like a desk and then touches their own eyes, mouth or nose before washing their hands.

How long can viruses live outside the body?
We know that some viruses and bacteria can live 2 hours or longer on surfaces like cafeteria tables, doorknobs, and desks. Frequent handwashing will help you reduce the chance of getting contamination from these common surfaces.

What can I do to protect myself from getting sick?
There is no vaccine available right now to protect against swine flu. There are everyday actions that can help prevent the spread of germs that cause respiratory illnesses like influenza.

Take these everyday steps to protect your health:

Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash after you use it.
Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze. Alcohol-based hand cleaners are also effective.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs spread this way.
Try to avoid close contact with sick people.
If you get sick wtih influenza, you are advice to stay home from work or school and limit contact with others to keep from infectiong them. What is the best way to keep from spreading the virus through coughing or sneezing?

When soap and water are not available, alcohol-based disposable hand wipes or gel sanitizers may be used. You can find them in most supermarkets and drugstores. What should I do if I get sick?
If you live in areas where swine influenza cases have been identified and become ill with influenza-like symptoms, including fever, body aches, runny nose, sore throat, nausea, or vomiting or diarrhea, you may want to contact their health care provider, particularly if you are worried about your symptoms. Your health care provider will determine whether influenza testing or treatment is needed.
If you are sick, you should stay home and avoid contact with other people as much as possible to keep from spreading your illness to others.
If you become ill and experience any of the following warning signs, seek emergency medical care.

In children emergency warning signs that need urgent medical attention include:

Fast breathing or trouble breathing
Bluish skin color Not drinking enough fluids
Not waking up or not interacting
Being so irritable that the child does not want to be held
Flu-like symptoms improve but then return with fever and worse cough
Fever with a rash

In adults, emergency warning signs that need urgent medical attention include:

Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
Pain or pressure in the chest or abdomen
Sudden dizziness
Confusion
Severe or persistent vomiting

How serious is swine flu infection?
Like seasonal flu, swine flu in humans can vary in severity from mild to severe. Between 2005 until January 2009, 12 human cases of swine flu were detected in the U.S. with no deaths occurring. However, swine flu infection can be serious. In September 1988, a previously healthy 32-year-old pregnant woman in Wisconsin was hospitalized for pneumonia after being infected with swine flu and died 8 days later. A swine flu outbreak in Fort Dix , New Jersey occurred in 1976 that caused more than 200 cases with serious illness in several people and one death.

Can I get swine influenza from eating or preparing pork?
No. Swine influenza viruses are not spread by food. You cannot get swine influenza from eating pork or pork products. Eating properly handled and cooked pork products is safe.

I also cann't answer.

And I also don't know should I say to the fishes,"Welcome to my home!"

It's really time to say goodbye to our beloved teacher, Nancy Phuong. She is leaving Malaysia on 14/4/2009.

We were having a farewell party for her at Neway Karaoke, 1U PJ on 12/04/2009.

Appreciation after the "WAITING"

Recently I brought one of my Myanmar worker to the Klang Hospital for treatment as the bone of his left hand cracked because of falling down in the washroom while he was washing his clothes.

We reached there at 9.30am.

I registered him and the staff there told us to wait for our turn at the waiting area.

We sat at the waiting area and waited for our turn.

5 minutes… ….

10 minutes… …

Finally, the doctor called our number.

We stepped in the treatment room.

Then the doctor asked us to do a X-Ray to see either there is a fracture on his bone or not.

We went to the radiology department.

And…..

Another waiting…..

And waiting…..

And waiting……

After 55 minutes, it’s our turn finally.

The worker went in to do the X-Ray. It took only 10 minutes. (But we have to wait for 55 minutes, Goosh!)

Then, another waiting…. For the X-Ray film & report.

After that, we went back to the previous doctor, passed him the film and report.

And,

He told us that there is a fracture on his hand and need to treat by a bone specialist. He referred us to another department.

I brought him to that department.

I had to re-register him.

And then,

Waiting…… and waiting again… ….

After 30 minutes, the assistant came and checked on him and told us he need to do plaster cement.

He brought us to the plaster cement room.

And, of course,

Another waiting….

And waiting……

After cemented, the assistant asked us to do another X-Ray to make sure that the plaster cement had done properly.

SO,

Here we go for another waiting…. ….

and waiting…. …

and waiting… …

After the X-Ray, the assistant told us that the plaster cement had done properly, but we still can’t leave as need to wait for the “doctor” to come for viewing.

At that time, it had already 1.30p.m.

We had no choice but just wait…

and wait…

and wait….

and wait….

About 3.00pm, the “doctor” finally appeared. He looked at the X-Ray and told us the cement had well done. He can leave now.

Immediately I went to do all the “discharge” procedures and left the hospital.

By the time I reached office, it’s already 4.45pm.

My godness... ...

What a day!

I believe that if I sent the worker to the private medical centre, the whole process will need only less than 3 hours.

THEN

I really feel that I am lucky.

As I know that “IF” “something” happen on me, I am able to get my treatment at a private medical centre instead of “suffering” at the government hospital.

I really thank God that I still have the ability to earn $$ to cover my medical fee, if the “IF” is really happening……

A Pair of School Shoe

Yesterday(8 Jan 2009)I went to a police station at Section 11, Shah Alam to make a police report due to some "workers problem".

There, I saw a security guard from a shopping complex nearby who caught a Indian guy and brought him to the same police station.

The Indian guy was so frighten.

Later, a policeman came to “handle” the Indian guy.

Then, only I knew that the Indian guy was being caught as trying to steal “SOMETHING” from the shopping complex.

Guess what was the thing that he was trying to steal??

Yes, just a pair of school shoe.

For sure the shoe that he trying to steal is not for his own use.

A pair of school shoe just cost less than RM20.00 and you can even get it at below RM10 at pasar malam,but,he can’t even buy it and he has to steal it… …

I was speechless… ….

How is he going to face his child and wife later??? What is he going to tell his child bout the reason he was being brought to the police station??

Look back to my previous post which I mention that I want to visit bla, bla, bla countries which need to spend quiet a number of $$$ and compare to this Indian guy!

Even RM10 – 20 also he doesn’t has and at last has to did something illegal just because of his child… …

I really speechless… …

He was brought to an officer room after that.

I really feel so pitty of him… … How I wish that I can pay the amount of the school shoe and ask the officer to release him… …

Already booked the "FREE" air ticket on 13 November 2008 during "FREE SEAT GIVE AWAY" campaign by Air Asia.

Just need to pay RM172.00 for air ticket (Two ways) BUT will only fly on OCT 2009!! Hmm... sitll have to wait for such a LONG LONG time, right?

Now am looking for the itenary and hotels, those who had been there before, any recommandation? Any food and activities that shouldn't be missed there? Can share with me not? Thanks in advance ya.

Ok. That is Oct 2009 plan. But before that, I am still thinking to have another trip during May 09's school mid term break. Am planing either go to Guiling or Club Med. Anybody interested to join me??

By the way, this year's Hari Raya Puasa is fall on 20 & 21 September 2008 which is Sunday & Monday. Since Sunday is a public holiday so, I will have a replacement holiday on Tuesday (as Monday is a public holiday too), included Saturday, that means I have 4 days holidays, so, is it means that I should plan for another trip? OMG... ...

My relative introduced this magnetic bracelet to me.

According to her, this magnetic bracelet will help me to improve blood circulation and thereafter boost up my immune system.

Well, as recently my health status isn’t that encouraging, so I bought one to try up. Will let you know the outcome later. So, next time if you see me, don't feel curious if you found that there is a bracelet appears on my right wrist, ok? It's for health.

It cost bout RM200 something. Actual amount not very sure as still haven’t paid my relative yet. I am entitling to enjoy 60 days credit term from her. How nice of her.

Yesterday Once More

Was attending a colleague cum ex-unimate (University mate)wedding dinner on 6/12/2008. I was so happy as most of my ex-housemate cum unimate were attending the dinner too. We drank, talked bout the fun time while we were at university, talked bout our career, shared our traveling experience… the whole night. (The only regret was I forgotten to bring my camera!)

The feeling was really great as it has been such a long long time since we met each others. I even can’t recall when was the last time that we met each others… …

On that night itself only we realized that we actually had graduated for almost 10 years. Goosh! I have been working for almost 10 years!!

Really feel great that has a chance to meet each others there. And finally the wedding dinner became the “reunion party” for us. Really have to thank to the bridegroom for “creating” such an opportunity for us to gather together. And really hope that we will keep in touch… … forever… …

My mood spoiled yersterday night (30/10/2008) after knowing that the team I support, Henry & Bernie has been eliminated from the race at the 8th leg! What a shock!!

They were pretty cool and calm all the while and seldom seen they fight with each other during the race, but unfortunately, luck wasn't be with them in this leg. They got eliminated just because couldn't get their connecting flight to cochin. What the hell!

Husband & wife biscuit - a special "biscuit" (actually it doesn't taste like biscuit but the taste is more similar to cake) from Vietnam.

It's made from the mixture of banana and green bean.

Look at the packaging - So presentable.
Taste - Not bad. Not so sweet and I had 4 pieces one short when I got it.

It's a MUST BUY souvenir that STRONGLY recommended by Small Bear, and now, I also recommend this to you.

Make sure you bring one back if you are visiting to Vietnam.

USD10/pack. There are 3 small baskets in one pack and each basket will has another 10 pieces of biscuit inside.

22 – 26/9/08 – A Trip to Hanoi without Halong Bay

22/9/2008 – Hanoi
Arrived Hanoi at 9.50 pm (Vietnam time) with flight AK762. Proceed to a local Chinese Restaurant for dinner. After dinner, proceed to a hotel which is located at ancient street, Phuc Loi Hotel. This hotel is damn small & squeezy. According to Small Bear (name of tour guide, translated from his Chinese name, 小雄) all the shops and hotels at Hanoi city can only being built not more than 3 m square feet in length, that’s why the room is so squeezy.

23/9/2008 – Hanoi / Halong
This was the first breakfast which I had in a hotel that gave me so SHOCK. It does not serve buffet breakfast but only French bread with jam & coffee. And when you told the waiter that you would like to have French bread for breakfast, he will suddenly “disappeared” and later on when you saw him again, you will found him carry a bag of French bread which he bought from the bread seller at the street near by the hotel. I really doubt about the cleanliness of the bread… …

After having breakfast at hotel, we had a walk at the street and found this interesting food – Vietnamese style Chee Cheong Fun. The taste was not bad. VND20,000 per plate.

9.30 am (Malaysia time is 10.30 am), we started our Hanoi city tour. (This is another SHOCK for me that started the tour at 9.30 am??) The city tour took only 1 ½ hour. Places that we visited including

1) Ba Dinh Square – The place where Vietnam people declared their independent here. It just like Malaysia’s Merdeka Square.

2) Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum – Just like President Mao Zhe Tong at People Republic of China, President Ho’s body was kept in a crystal coffin for the viewing of the visitors. But unfortunately, it was closed to public due to???? (a reason even Small Bear couldn’t answer)

3) Ho Chi Minh residence

4) One Pillar Pagoda – A unique temple which built using only “one pillar”.

5) Temple of Literature (Ven Mieu) – A temple which pray for Confu Tze

Taken our lunch at 11.30am then proceed to Halong by van. The journey took about 3 ½ hours as there is no highway at Hanoi and the driver can only drive at 60 km/h.

Arrived Halong at 4.30pm. Checked in to Blue Sky Hotel. The hotel here was much more comfortable and bigger compare to hotel at Hanoi.

We went to have our first cup of “drip drip coffee” here. Damn thick but damn yummy.

We had our dinner at 6.15pm. After dinner, took a walk to Ha Long night market (same like Malaysia’s pasar malam). Selling all types of souvenirs.

** A useful tips, if you are to purchase some souvenir, please do it here as all the things sell here are cheaper than 36 ancient streets at Hanoi and some of the souvenir sell here you can’t even find at Hanoi.

After shopping, went to “enjoy” a Vietnamese style message which cost USD20 per person. Damn pain and so uncomfortable. Still feel that Thai massage is the best.

24/9/08 – Halong / Hanoi
Woke up at 6.00 am. After breakfast, I prepared for boarding to the boat to visit the “MAIN DESTINATION” – Halong Bay. Felt so excited and can’t wait for it.

The visit to Halong Bay was “destroyed” when received a new from Small Bear

“All boats are prohibited from sailing out to Halong Bay today and tomorrow as Halong Bay is expecting a typhoon in the afternoon.”

Oh, My God!!! Can you believe it?

I really couldn’t take it! I stood at the jetty and refused to go back. I really couldn’t accept it. After 30 minutes struggling there, I knew that it’s already a fact, so I just took a picture from jetty and left with “broken heart”… …

P/S : I left a box with a question mark as reserve for the pictures of Halong Bay. I will fill the box later. For sure!

Small Bear was so kind. He knew that I was so upset and he told me he will try to go to the local restaurant which has a connection with the jetty’s manager to check up weather there is anyway to get a “illegal boat” to take us for a at least 2 hours cruise to Halong Bay (the normal cruise is 4 hours) but the answer still was a disappointment. So, we have no choice but really have to leave Halong Bay now… …

p/s : thanks to Nancy who sent me an encouraging message when I was so “down”, “DON’T BE SO DISAPPOINTED. IN THE BAD THING ALWASYS GOT GOOD THINGS COME”

Our plan was replaced by a visit to the “Stone Village”. What a boring replacement plan!

Because of “no choice”, as the sales girl was so passionate in pushing and persuading me, so, I bought these.

I knew that I am not going to use this, so girls, whoever wants this, please make your reservation here. According to the sales girl, you can put rings and other accessories inside.

After this, we supposed to visit to silk village but I told Small Bear to cancel the boring trip. So, we were sent back to hotel for a short rest.

We changed our hotel when we returned to Hanoi. We checked in to Khach San Khan Quang Do hotel. This time the hotel was much wider and comfortable. (And it served buffet breakfast, hehe)

3.30pm – It started to rain. (Typhoon approaching??) We were brought to do our shopping at 36 ancient streets. We bought some souvenirs here, especially a sets of 7 pieces water puppet which cost VND460,000 at all.

We also had our first bowl of famous Vietnamese beef noodle soup and our second cup of “drip drip coffee”. It cost VND40,000.00.

Then, we visited to Hoan Kiem Lake(还剑湖). According to the legend, there was once Li Huang Ti borrowed a magic sword from the tortoise to protect and build his dynasty. Later on when Li Huang Ti’s dynasty was settled down, the tortoise asked back the magic sword which he lent to Li Huang Ti at this lake.

There is a temple that you can find the tortoise.

5.15pm – Proceed to Thang Long Water Puppet Theatre to watch the famous water puppet show. The show was so unique and nice.

After dinner, we went back to hotel.

Small Bear told me don’t be too upset as tomorrow we will be visiting to Halong Bay on land. Hmm….sounds interesting. Ok, I just put my hope on tomorrow and wait for the good things to come, hopefully!

25/09/08 – Tam Coc / Bich Dong
8.30 am – Started our journey to Tam Coc. The journey took about 2 ½ hours. We arrived at 11.10 am. It was a rainy day since yesterday.

We reached Tam Coc jetty around 11.00am. We have to take a small boat which rowed by a villager to start our tour to on land Halong Bay because the water here is too swallow and it won’t allow a big boat to sail in. Once the boat started to move, I staled there. The scenery was so beautiful. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Isn’t it Halong Bay? My camera couldn’t stop from snapping the beautiful scenery. Now only I understand why it is called Halong Bay on land!

We were crossing 3 caves. The first cave is 127m long, the middle cave is 70m long and the last cave is only 40m long.

The tour took about 1 ½ hours.

Once I landed, I told Small Bear that I felt so regret that taking this tour. I shouldn’t have following this tour as the Halong Bay on land already as beautiful as this, how about the scenery at Halong Bay? For sure it’s much more beautiful than here!

He smiled and told me that actually the scenery here and Halong Bay is almost the same, just one is located at sea and another one is located at river. And the most important thing is you don’t need to worry about typhoon here.

What the hell!

After that, he was telling me that Halong Bay has declared as a natural heritage by UNESCO but Halong Bay on land still haven’t being declared by UNESCO.

I told him, it will, and very soon, it will. Just wait and see… …

P/S : After the visit to Halong Bay on land, it made me feel more confidence that I’ll be back to Hanoi to visit Halong Bay later!

Then, we were brought to have our lunch at a restaurant nearby. I was shocked when knew that I was being served with a deep fried rabbit meat! The meat just taste like pork.

2.30pm – We visited to Bich Dong, a temple which built “inside” the mountain.

It is built in 3 separated parts. The first temple is built on land and the 2nd and 3rd temple is built “in” the mountain.

To visit the 2nd and 3rd temple, we have to climb up some staircase just like how we did when we want to visit temple at Batu Cave of Malaysia.

Since it was a rainy day, the stair case was so slippery and Small Bear advised us not to climb to the top of the temple. You know, all the while I am a “good student” and will never disobey instruction, so, we really just climbed up to the middle of the temple, snapped a photo and walked down.

2.55pm – We went back to Hanoi.

6.30pm – In Hang Zhuo, China, there is a Xi Hu (西湖), but at Hanoi, there is a Xi Hu too. The only different is you can’t find Madam White and Xu Xian here.

We had a buffet dinner which cost VND115,000 per person at a nearby restaurant.

26/09/08 – Malaysia
After breakfast, we were sent to airport and took AK761 flight to fly back to Malaysia at 9.50 am.

16/9/2008 - Another visit to clinic to get treatment from doctor.

This is already the 4th treatment.

Gosh, I really don't know what's wrong with me. This time even more worst as having virus infection!

If this situation is goimg to continue, how am I going to Hanoi on 22/9/2008? How am I going to enjoy my trip?

Another set of antibiotic that I have to take. People said too much of antibiotic can kill you, so later on I think I will "die" because of over dosage of antibiotic!!!

I have been suffering flu and cough for more than 6 weeks.

Already went to get treatment from doctor for 3 times but still not feel like recovering.

5/9/08 – 3rd visit

Completed all the medicine and antibiotic but till now still not feel good.

The nose is still blocked and the throat still itchy... ...

God, what’s wrong with me???

31.08.08-Sg Klah

31.08.08 – A Sunday that I didn’t need to work (Finally). Drove my car and brought my nephews, my nieces, my parents and sis to Sungai Klah Hot Spring for a one day trip.

This is the hot spring pool which gets its source of heat from the underground. The water is really hot and my nephews and nieces were so enjoying when swimming there.

After that, we proceed to the big pool that gets its source of cool water from the mountain spring. They swam until didn’t want to get up from the pool.

And surprisingly I found this antique “CD player” there. Everybody was like competing to put in the coins and played the songs that they love.

All the while I was so busy with my works and spend so less time to hang up with my family members. From KL to Sg Klah actually just need about 1 ½ hour but all the while I just can’t fulfill my nephews’ request which ask me to bring them there for swimming for such a long long time. I keep promising and keep failing them… … and finally today, I did it.

From the trip, I was really happy while swimming together with my nephews and nieces. I was happy to play a role of “safe guard” while they were swimming. I was happy to become their “temporary daddy” too (their parents were visiting to Korea at that time). I like the feeling of stay together with the family members. How nice when my nephews and nieces keep calling me “uncle” and “daddy”. The feeling of hugging them, kissing them and talking with them was so good.

I should have spent more time with them. I will really try my best to do so … …

Once upon a time, soon after the Việt people established their country, invaders came.

The Jade Emperor sent Mother Dragon and her Child Dragons down to earth to help the Việt people fight against their enemy.

Right at the time invaders' boats were rushing to the shore, the dragons landed down on earth. The dragons immediately sent out from their mouths a lot of pearls, which then turned into thousands of stone islands emerging in the sea like great walls challenging the invaders' boats.
The fast boats couldn't manage to stop and crashed into the islands and into each other and broke into pieces.

After the victory, Mother Dragon and Child Dragons didn't return Heaven but stayed on earth at the place where the battle had occurred. The location Mother Dragon landed is nowadays Hạ Long Bay and where Child Dragons descended is now B Tử Long. The dragons' tails waving the water created Long Vĩ (present Tr?Cổ peninsula) and formed a fine sand beach over ten kilometers long.

The legend of Hạ Long has it that???

Hanoi is another destination that I planed to visit for such a long time.

Finally, I had decided to visit there on September 2008. Hmm... ... feel excited as looking forward to view the multi-shaped rocks, visit the dramatic caves, shop till drop at 36 ancient street, and the most desire activity - to watch water puppet show and drink PURE vietnamese coffee there!

On 12 August 2008, I was following my sales manager to deliver magazines to our client at Kajang. After that, of course we went to Restoran Haji Samuri to have our "Satay set lunch".

The quality of the Kajang Satay is so much diffrent compare to last time while I was studying at Kajang. (That was xx years ago matter, of course) The taste is not as tasty as last time, the size of the satay also been squeezed... ...

Anyhow, the only thing that still remain unchange is the price of the satay, but, the size of the satay... ...

When I Am 35... ...

There was one day while I was having dinner with my elderly friend. She suddenly threw out a question to me, “ How old are you now? Have you ever thought that what do you want to achieve when you are 35 years old?”

I sat quietly for few minutes and stared at her wordlessly.

Yes. I really never thought about this. “35” is just at the corner for me. What do I want to get when I am at that age?

She continued, “Son, try to think about it and write it down. After listing down then you must try to achieve it. Review it when you are 35 years old to see how far is your achievement according to the list. Even you can’t achieve all your targets but at least you try before and you will have no regret.”

Yes. She is right. I really have to think about it now to make sure that my entire life will be more meaningful.

Burdened with "Pretty Ladies"

ONCE upon a time, a big monk and a little monk were traveling together. They came to the bank of a river and found that the bridge had been damaged. So they had to wade across.

As they splashed through the water, they came upon a pretty lady who was stuck at the bridge. The big monk offered to carry her over to the other side on his back, and she accepted.

The little monk was shocked by his companion’s offer. “How can big brother carry a lady when we are supposed to avoid any intimacy with female?” he thought to himself. But he didn’t say a word.

He waded along, unhappily, as the pair crossed the river. When they reached the opposite bank, the big monk put the lady down and they parted ways with her.

For several miles, as they continued their journey, the little monk mulled over all kinds of accusations to throw at the big monk. In the process, he got angrier and angrier. But he still kept quiet. Finally at a rest point many hours later, he could no longer contain himself and burst our:

“How can you claim to be a devout monk when you seize the first opportunity to touch a woman, especially a very pretty one? All your teachings make you a big hypocrite.”

This old Chinese story reflects the thinking of many people today. In life, we encounter many unpleasant things which irritate us or make us angry. Sometimes, they cause us a lot of hurt, of make us bitter.

But, like the little monk, we are not willing to let go of them. We continue to carry the ‘pretty lady’ long after we have crossed the river.

Yesterday while I was waiting for a friend at Jalan Ipoh, my eyesight suddenly atttracted by one of the drink which is selling in a shop nearby. So, I went in to check up what drink is that actually.

Guys, Guess what drink is this?

Yes, it's "COOL RHINO - COOL YOUR SYSTEM"!

Really COOL right? The design of the bottle is so attractive and in various colors. After reading the label, only I knew that this is a "limited edition" (Serious or not??) so I just grabbed one as a "collection".

Now, guess how much does it cost?

Lately I was so busy in "visiting" the goverment departments like imigration, fomema... ... as the work permit of my foreign workers are going to expire soon so I need to do the neccessary before renewal of their permit.

When come to the turn of "visiting" to Shah Alam Fomema office, I was not so sure where is the office located at as this was my first visit there, therefore, I was depending on the road sign to lead me there.

I was just following the road sign and suddenly the last road sign I saw shown like this:-

Huh? What does it means? I was so confuse. According to the road sign, I need to "walk down", so, should I go down one floor or what?

After thinking for few second only I realised that actually the road sign ask me to turn to my right... ...

Turn to your right!!

What a good road indicator ya?

Goodbye My Love!

She has been accompanying me about 8 years. Wherever I go, she will always follow. She sheltered me from hot sun and cool rain. She also played the role of protecting me from the risk of knocking down by the vehicles all around me.

Sometimes, she will be very “childish” and wanted to play a role play game with me. I will be the father and she is the daughter. At that time, she will just try to avoid herself from going out with me. So, I have to “persuade” her, feed her a "meal" and "drink", then only she will agree to go out with me.

Every month or once in two months, I will have to go “shopping” with her. If her mood is good, than I just need to spend bout Rm150.00 to make her inner body clean and energetic. But once in a while, she will force me to buy her some expensive accessories to make her look nicer, prettier and powerful.

Who is she?

She is my lovely WIFE.

On 24 Jun 2008, I have to say good bye to her. I betrayed her and passed her to other person... ...

Feel so hard to leave her as she had already “staying” together with me for such a long time… ….

But, human is always like that, when we have a new thing, we will always tent to forget the old thing.

That’s call human… …

Just hope that she will be happier & better later, IF... she has a chance to follow a new owner.

Salty Coffee

Wanna try the salty coffee for few times but till now still don't have the caurage. Anybody who like to try about it please don't forget to tell me how does it taste after that.

HE met her at a party. She was outstanding; many guys were after her, but nobody paid any attention to him. After the party, he invited her for coffee. She was surprised. So as not to appear rude, she went along.

As they sat in a nice coffee shop, he was too nervous to say anything and she felt uncomfortable. Suddenly, he asked the waiter, “Could you please give me some salt? I would like to put it in my coffee.”

They stared at him. He turned red, but when the salt came, he put it in his coffee and drank. Curious, she asked, “Why salt with coffee?” He explained: “When I was a little boy, I lived near the sea. I like playing in the sea. I could feel its taste – salty, like salty coffee. Now every time I drink it, I think of my childhood and my hometown. I miss it and my parents, who are still there.”

She was deeply touched. A man who can admit that he’s homesick must love his home and care about his family. He must be responsible.

She talked too, about her faraway hometown, her childhood, her family. That was the start to their love story.

They continued to date. She found that he met all her requirements. He was tolerant, kind, warm and careful. And to think she would have missed the catch if not for the salty coffee!

So they married and lived happily together. And every time she made coffee for him, she put in some salt, the way he like it.

After 40 years, he passed away and left her a letter which said:

“My dearest, please forgive my lifelong lie. Remember the first time we dated? I was so nervous I asked for salt instead of sugar.

“It was hard for me to ask for a change, so I just went ahead. I never thought that we would hit it off. Many times, I tried to tell you the truth but I was afraid that it would ruin everything.

“Sweetheart, I don’t exactly like salty coffee. But as it mattered so much to you, I’ve learnt to enjoy it. Having you with me was my greatest happiness. If I could live a second time, I hope we can be together again, even if it means that I have to drink salty coffee for the rest of my life.”

She was speechless. One day, someone asked her what salty coffee tasted like. She replied, “Sweet… it couldn’t taste better.”

I like coffee.
My day is incomplete if not having at least a cup of it.

Recently, one of my colleague has "sponsored" (actually forced by us) a ELBx brand coffee maker to us and it looks like this.

Guess how much does it cost?

As soon as I have it, I went to starbucks to buy this.

Frech Toast Extra Bold Whole Bean Coffee

Since then, I am having at least 3 cups of this per day.(Sometime even more than this)

How do I live without you???

My friends keep scolding me as taking too much of caffeine, but, I don't mind as to coffee,

P/S : 1) Am waiting for coffee lover to share their experience in everything about coffee!
2) Next time if you want to buy me a present, you should know what to buy ya! :)

Today is 12.06.2008-This is a special day as i finally have my own blog! Hooray!!
